Vytautas Karčiauskas, a professional artist, specializing in sculpture and jewelry.

Creator of gallery “Pėda” in the city of Klaipėda and member of Lithuanian Artists Association.

Exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad (since 1978):

1978 - Graduated from the Estonian State Art Institute of Talinn.

1978 - Design Institute of Tartu, Estonia: developed an artistic spatial composition. (H - 16, 8 × 9 m.)

1981 - Decorative panel "Energy" (H - 6.5 m.) in Klaipeda.

1981 - Designed panel "Knowledge" (1.7 x 0.7 m.) Moscow (International Competition).

1982 to 1984 - Created interior elements of metal composition for Klaipėda’s post of pigeons, Lithuania.

1980 - Created the Souvenir of Moscow, Russia.

1989 to 1990 - Artist of the Olympic Games (International Competition).

1991 - Founded Art Gallery "Pėda" in Klaipėda, Lithuania.

1996 - Mobile composition "Flight" (H - 2.5 m). located in TEO headquarters (Vilnius).

1998 - Personal exhibition "The Road" in Klaipėda.

1999 - Set up his own sculpture park "Garden Isle" (2 ha letters, Klaipėda district).

2000 to 2001 - Solo Exhibitions for the French Cultural center in Vilnius.

2001 - Established an annual award in honor of the Klaipėda region doctors named "Wholeheartedly" (partner dr. J. condition and Klaipėda Hospital), Lithuania.

2002 - Mobile sculpture "Taurus" (H - 2 m.) located in Athens, Greece.

2002 - Mobile design "Evolution" (H - 2.3 m). Hotel Klaipėda, Lithuania.

2004 - Set up an annual award of "Tolerance" for solemn enlightened West Lithuania (Associate newspaper Klaipėda).

2004 - Established KLASCO Award - emphasised by an outstanding sculpture for Klaipeda’s University alumni and professors. 

2005 - Given the status of Lithuanian Artists Association.

2007 - Donated a sculpture "The Legend" (H - 3.6 m) to Klaipėda’s city, Lithuania.

2007 - 07 - 02 - organized singing poetry festival, marking the first town of Klaipėda’s Name.

2008 - The revolutionary Lithuanian reform movement marked its twentieth year, developed a granite panel to remind "Our Movement" to Klaipėda’s inhabitants.

2009 - Created the impressive steel sculpture "Wave" in the University’s of Klaipėda yard (Dimensions - 2.3 × 5 × 1.5 m.) together with cooperating architect - G. Reisgys.

2009 - Had created and delivered the prizes worldwide for the winners of an international boating competition competition: The Tall Ship's Races Baltic 2009. Co-author Laura Potet.

2010 - A mobile composition "I want to be ..." (H - 3,35 m.) This composition represented Lithuania in the World Art Exhibition in Shanghai Expo 2010.

2010 - For the famous people in commemoration of achievements and active participation in cultural life in the region of Klaipeda, V. Karčiauskas Klaipėda County was awarded a badge of honor.

2012 - Vytautas Karčiauskas represented Lithuania in the World Art Exhibition Expo 2012 in Yeosu, Korea.

2012 - Exibition together with Laura Potet in Paris design week.

2014 - Sculpture “Our Angel“ co-author: E.Karčiauskienė (H - 2.8 m)
Stainless steel, bronze, granite. Vilnius, Lithuania.

2014 - Vytautas received a nomination of LTOK - An olympic cross and diploma.

2015 - Interactive sculptural composition “Balance“ co-author: L.Potet (H - 5.5 m.)
Granitas, stainless steel glass and lighting installations. This composition received an exceptionally high interest in the Worldwide  EXPO 2015 Milano exposition. 

Since 2016 - The composition “Balance“ (H – 5.5 m.) has been museum owned, representing Lithuania in the Worldwide EXPO Museum in Shanghai.

2016 - Interactive sculptures exposition “Love“ in art galery “PĖDA“.

2017 - Personal show – mobile sculpture exposition in France: 

  • Ploermel city  - sculpture works collection “Live European Legends“ Exposition centre: Blue Chapelle.

  • La Boulle city - exposition  “Autumn Salon“  selected works in exposition centre. This show was evaluated   by la Boulle’s artist association’s “Honorary Diploma“. 

  • Barbotin manor in Ploermel –  8 sculptures’ exposition in the manor’s park.

2018 - Personal exposition of the most recent works: “Freedom“ in art gallery “PĖDA“.

2018 - Sculpture exposition - “Lithuanian Freedom Century“ in the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Vilnius.

2019 - Mobile sculpture exposition in the city of Nantes, France.

2019 - Creation of the sculptural composition “Live Azerbaijan Legend“ (H - 3.2 m.) in the Pedagogical University of Baku. (International competition).

2020 - January to February, a personal exposition “Visions“ in the art galery ,,PĖDA“ .
